Odboso PhotoRetrieval is a program that allows you to recover lost pictures from any data storage device. It uses a wizard that guides you through all the process of recovering pictures that were lost from camera memory cards, USB flash drives, or any other data storage device that was formatted or that is inaccessible.
The first step to recover pictures is to select the storage device. If the storage device doesn't appear on the list, you won't be able to recover any picture. After the storage device has been selected, you can choose the image formats that will be searched and recovered. The image formats supported are: Bitmap, GIF, JPG, Paintbrush, PNG, Adobe Photoshop, TGA, and TIFF. The Camera RAW Image formats supported are: Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Pentax, and Olympus. You can select all the image formats from the list but the searching performance may be slower.
After the scan has started, the program will be showing the thumbnails of the pictures that have been found. When the scan is complete, you can select one or more pictures you would like to recover by pressing the CTRL key + left mouse click. The last step is to select a storage location different from the original to save your recovered photos.
